Mulemwa Moongwa is a Certified Meetings Manager (MPI) and Certified Events Desinger from Lusaka, Zambia. A Business Tourism Specialist, whose Entrepreneurial journey started at age 21. Mulemwa owns and manages a leading Meetings Management Firm that suffered to the point of closure during the pandemic. In addressing the industry challenges , Mulemwa quickly pivoted from highlighting challenges to harnessing the opportunities of promoting the Meetings industry and has since 2020 pivoted into advocacy and education. In September 2022, Mulemwa was appointed to serve as the Chairperson of the Governing Council of the Zambia Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Studies in recognition of her continued efforts at addressing the human gaps in the recovery of the Tourism Industry not only in Zambia but the continent as a whole. In October 2022, Mulemwa was recognised by the Meetings Professional International for her efforts in promoting the Meetings industry in Africa.
