A new webinar from Pinnacle Leadership Associates

When do I get to grieve?

Navigating clergy grief

"In ministry, you grow to love and care about people. Then you have to bury them."

Grief is a constant in ministry. While we may learn a lot about how to care for grieving people whom we serve, we may not learn much about how to deal with our own grief.

Some of that grief has been a part of ministry forever. Some of it is more recent, as we face changing cultures, communities, and denominations.

All of it demands our attention. But how?

Join us in this webinar to talk about grief AND healing.

Tuesday, October 31, 3:00 PM (EST)

Thursday, November 2, 9:00 AM (EST)

In the webinar we'll address

How do you grieve for your friends while caring for those who are grieving the same loss?

How do you keep your head above water when faced with multiple losses, especially in an older congregation?

How do you grieve a ministry that looks nothing like how you dreamed of serving?

How do you grieve a declining congregation or denominational changes?

What are tools that you can use to help process your grief?

Presented by:

Peggy Haymes is an ordained minister, licensed therapist, and Associate with Pinnacle Leadership Associates. Two decades ago she was invited by the staff of Elisabeth Kubler-Ross to train with them and then join them in leading their grief workshops that grew out of Kubler-Ross' work. As they have retired, Peggy is one of the leaders who is continuing this work into the next generation.

This webinar is for you if

You are a seasoned minister feeling the weight of too many funerals and too many goodbyes.

You are a new minister wondering how to survive the losses.

Your church is in decline or your denomination is experiencing significant change.

The ministry you're in isn't the place or the way you dreamed of or felt called to serve.
